Belonging Through Time
Heart Language. Guru Purnima Full Moon. Ayurvedic Tips for Opening Your Heart.
Heart Language
Holism is the belief that everything in life, seen and unseen, is intricately interconnected, forming a complex web of relationships that influence each other. One of the most fruitful ways to truly understand and experience this profound connection is through the heart - Our timeless seat of compassion.
What do I mean when I say heart language?
Heart language refers to experiencing and feeling deeply rather than just thinking logically. It's about connecting with intuition, to love, understand, and interact with others and the world around us, it’s the ‘still small voice within’.
We help each other because of our heart intelligence and our caring nature. The politics and action of love are the politics and action of peace and transformation. Love transcends fear, being more responsive than most things. Love is the surrender of ego and pride.
Our three vital mind and emotional centres - The heart, the brain, and the gut, serve as our interconnected pathways. When all three are aligned we create a gateway to collective consciousness and to our ancestral wisdom.
Humanity can benefit from thinking and planning with heart language, radiating outwards to foster connections within the community. If society needs anything now it’s a good infusion of heart centred thinking, action and language.
By awakening your heart centre, you learn to love yourself and thus others. You heal your entire past (from the moment of conception), embrace your present and smile at your future. You heal your inner-child and inner-parent. Your relationship with everyone takes on a higher meaning. You will choose to walk away from friends who no longer resonate and find new ones who do. You live your life with more purpose, have greater clarity. You are no longer bound to the fear generated by others. You are no longer affected by the world but are the one affecting the world. You are a lighthouse that circulates its beacon of light. You are empowered and empower others to choose joy.
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system of medicine which is possibly the oldest living evidence-based science today. It literally translates to ‘’The Science of Life’’ and is the Mother of all medical systems.1
